SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Telephone Numbers, Age, and Duty to Notify
By providing a telephone number, you verify that the telephone number is your true and accurate phone number. You verify that you are the current subscriber or owner of any telephone number you provide. Should any contact information change, including telephone number ownership, you agree to immediately notify us before the change goes into effect by through our contact page here.
2. Program Description
By texting our keyword to our toll-free number, you opt in to receive text message updates and alerts from Safer Tech at LastTreeLaws.com, regarding our campaign, ballot work, and community meetings.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on local event schedules. You can expect up to 5 messages per month per event list you join.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply to any messages sent or received. Safer Tech at LastTreeLaws.com does not charge a fee for this service.
5. How to Opt-Out / Stop
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our number. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time.
6. Support / Help
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by calling our wired desk phone at [Insert Your Comcast Wired Number].
7. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. All user data collected via our SMS program is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us for any privacy, tort, or other claims, including claims under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act or any state law equivalents, including claims related to your voluntary provision of a telephone number that is not owned by you and/ or your failure to notify us of any changes in your mobile telephone number. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all such claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees).
9. Carrier Monitoring Notice:
Please be aware that use of any mobile texting service is automatically scannable and viewable by mobile carriers (such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile) for automated spam filtering, compliance routing, and network security purposes. Their privacy terms, or lack thereof, apply.
