Our goal is to prevent the last tree from falling alongside human life. We design urgent legislation & campaigns to protect life, autonomy, and justice.

While our current campaign is for Safer Tech at LastTreeLaws.com, below are listed future plans and ongoing work.

Goal #1: Investigate State-level Governance including Executive Agencies

When light is shown on potential corruption, often suspicious ‘leadership’ is replaced. In addition, findings can lead to systematic changes that prevent corrupting influences. Such research is far more rare than it should be, because it is not funded or encouraged by government.

Goal #2: People’s Ballot Campaigns

Because putting questions on the ballot can be difficult and expensive, provide a smooth, lower-cost operation to place questions on the ballot to allow voters to decide on legislation.

Goal #3: Election Campaign Legislation

We must increase state-level campaign access for democracy to function and to prevent censorship of critique or opposition – and provide a model for all states to follow that bypasses dependence upon corporate interests. Details here.

Goal #4: Independent State-Level Science Legislation

State-level science must be not only rigorous, but independent and in the public interest. Doing so would clearly have widespread benefits for safety, health, and environment.

As time allows, other interests for legislation include ecological protections, new economies, safer tech, and more.
